PE and Sport Premium

Schools receive an allocation of funding to specifically spend on PE and schools can choose how they use the funding and since 2013 we have used the premium in some of the following ways to:

Hire specialist PE teachers and sports coaches to work with primary teachers during PE lessons.

Dupport and involve the least active children by running lunchtime and after-school sports clubs

Provide resources and training courses in PE and Sport for teachers

Run sport competitions and sports activities with other schools

Omprove the resources available for sporting activities
Our PE coordinator Mrs Nell Spencer will sustain improvements and outcomes for PE through on going action planning as a result of staff, parent and pupil perceptions and club attendance.
